Of His Comrade
The Crow
The Crow — Shadow of the Wing
A bird the country folk would call ordinary — but which has, of its own will, chosen Jen. It arrives before bad weather, before bad news, and before the worst sort of strangers. Sometimes it brings word. Sometimes a warning. Sometimes it simply watches.
Of His Heart

Loved

  • The silence of deep forest.
  • Planning three steps ahead.
  • Helping those without recourse.
  • Gold earned by a sharp mind, not a loud voice.
  • Chaos — because "chaos is where I belong."

Refused

  • Corrupt nobility.
  • Betrayal in any form.
  • Trusting strangers too quickly.
  • His former self — afraid of becoming that person again without noticing.
Of His Wounds
  • STR 8 — not built for heavy blades or carrying much.
  • CHA 12 — poor at persuasion and open negotiation.
  • Passive Insight 11 — struggles to read hidden intent.
  • Deep-seated distrust — slow to open, slow to forgive.
  • Fears becoming the same kind of man who raised him.
  • Hunted by the "Silver Chain" organisation.

Of His Past

Born in a small Celtic village, a quiet life — until an unknown force "swept it clean." He survived because a veteran criminal found him in the wreckage and saw something worth keeping.

Raised underground. Taught to lie, to hide, to infiltrate, to endure. Caught eventually — nearly executed. The scar across his throat is where the rope was.

The Iron Druids pulled him out and gave him work. Turned a thief into something closer to a spy — and still, beneath it all, a man looking for his own path.

Now hunted by the "Silver Chain." The past has caught up — and he must choose what he becomes next.

— Of His Oaths —

Steal not from the poor.
Kill not the defenceless.
Suffer not injustice to outweigh truth.
